Woodsman Shave Soap
Woodsman Shave Soap
Having been in the military for more than twenty years, I, like most men, have shaven a few times. I also, like many men, have sensitive skin. For many years I suffered with razor bumps and sores on my neck. I bought the most expensive shaving supplies I could get. Most of which made things worse. Then I discovered the double edge safety razor and quality shave soaps. My shaving life was changed forever. Multiple blades dragging over sensitive skin will always cause problems. One sharp blade shaves the best. That’s why people pay for straight razor shaves. Along with that a good soap that provides excellent lubrication and protection makes the shaving experience something to look forward to instead of dread. Unfortunately I was never satisfied with what I could buy in my neighborhood store. The lather wasn’t good, and neither was the lubrication or smell. So I decided to take things into my own hands. Kinda like my furniture I guess. So I researched what was good for skin along with some essential oils that smell good and got to work making my own shave soap. What resulted was the best soap I ever used. And I shared it with family and friends who had similar reactions to me. It’s an olive oil soap with a good helping of glycerine, bentonite clay, and essential oils to help protect, soothe, and heal the skin. This soap has a rich lather that, along with its hearty woodsman scent, leaves you feeling like a man. I like to say its beard tested, man approved.
